Spring sports have always tended to be my favorite. While basketball winding down isn’t ideal, some of my favorite sports — baseball and softball — are just beginning.
Growing up, spring was always one of my busier times, going from dance class, to playing on two softball teams, to tennis lessons, it seemed like I never stopped. But moving from place to place kept me busy, another reason why I love the spring.
The Elon spring sports season is set to be action packed, and each team is filled with a ton of potential. These athletes have been working hard throughout their entire off-season, and I look forward to watching the success of the teams and following their futures as each one makes a push toward becoming Colonial Athletic Association champions.
This special edition is possible with hard work from our staff at Elon News Network and collaboration with Elon Athletics.
I am so honored to serve as sports director for Elon News Network and work with such an amazing, talented team. I hope you enjoy spring sports 2023!
